Treatment, hospital admission and test support

From the first visit to the day you go home, our team handles the practical side of treatment, so you can focus on getting well and on deciding what should be done. We explain what is happening at each step, to you and your family.

How we help

Doctors and hospitals provide the treatment. We make the journey clearer and easier.

  • Choose the right doctor and hospital for your condition
  • Come with you for the first visit and for key steps of treatment
  • Help with the hospital admission process
  • Arrange the tests your doctor has asked for
  • Keep you and your family informed about what is happening and why

Blood tests and other tests

Tests are often the first step in understanding a health problem. We arrange the tests your doctor has asked for, and our team can go with you if you would like support.

Bring the doctor's written request, and keep every report together in one folder, so that each doctor you see can read them.

Getting ready for a hospital admission

Requirements differ between hospitals, so ask the hospital which documents it needs. These are usually useful.

  • Photo ID and the patient's contact details
  • Insurance card or policy details, if there is insurance
  • The doctor's advice, earlier reports and prescriptions
  • A list of the medicines the patient takes now
  • A family member's phone number for the hospital to call
  • Comfortable clothes and basic personal items for the stay

When you leave the hospital

Treatment does not end at discharge. Before you leave, make sure you have these.

  • The discharge summary, in writing
  • A clear list of medicines: what, how much and for how long
  • The dates for follow-up visits and any tests
  • Signs that mean you should call the doctor or return to the hospital
  • A plan for care at home, if it is needed

Recovery and insurance

Recovery is part of treatment. We continue to support you through the days that follow, including care back at home.

If the patient has medical insurance, we can help with insurance and cashless treatment.

Sevagan provides guidance and coordination, not medical diagnosis or treatment. Medical decisions stay with you and your doctors. In a medical emergency, call 108 or 112 or go to the nearest hospital.
