Medical insurance and cashless treatment support
Dealing with a health problem and insurance paperwork at the same time is hard. Sevagan helps patients and families with medical insurance and cashless treatment, and our team can go along to help at the hospital.
What cashless treatment means
With cashless treatment, the insurer pays the hospital directly for the covered costs of treatment, so you do not have to pay those amounts upfront. This is usually available at hospitals that work with your insurer, and it depends on your policy.
For planned treatment, the hospital normally asks the insurer for approval before admission. In an emergency, approval is usually requested after admission. You may still have to pay for items your policy does not cover. The exact process differs between insurers, hospitals and policies.
